Trilite

Design Giorgio Rava
Trilite was born from the desire to suspend matter, giving shape to gravity. It is inspired by man’s first architectural gestures, when three elements were enough to lift stone toward the sky. A primordial and monumental balance. A self-supporting system for furniture and sinks, based on a three-point support structure. The basic “T” element distributes vertical loads and transfers the weight to the ground in a controlled manner. A second support element connects to the bases and stiffens the whole, forming a single, stable body, anchored to the wall at specific points.
The system therefore does not require a structural wall and can be installed in any environment. The elements that make up the base can be used as a technical compartment for the passage of pipes or as storage space, ensuring maximum flexibility. The result is a suspended effect, in which mass becomes structure and structure becomes lightness.
