Abitazione RR

The completion of the RR residence is the result of the renovation of a residential property unit of about 130 square meters, located inside a historical building in the Parco delle Basiliche area, in the heart of the city of Milan. The project has met the challenge of interpolating the needs of the client, the position within a prestigious building with a strong historical-architectural value, the enhancement of the existing building heritage and the interpretation of contemporary living, in a city among the world capitals of architecture and design.

The specific connotations of the existing, such as the elevations along the city streets with historical-architectural constraints, the remarkable inter-storey heights, the reinforced concrete frame structure with load-bearing walls and iron ceilings with vaults, double exposure on the road and on a private internal courtyard, the articulated shape of the real estate unit have imposed particular attention in the development of the interior design.
