La Lagunita

When entering this apartment, located in the Southern part of Caracas, the dialogue between its spaces and the environment becomes the most amazing element of its design. The work that has been performed resulted in a comprehensive redesign of the apartment. The concept of space is reimagined as a radical new proposal which responds simultaneously to the needs of the clients, a couple with no children, the requirements of the surrounding environment and the opportunities it offers.

The apartment is a duplex and the proposed heights allow for a visual connection between the spaces, achieving fluidity in the perception of the activities along them. Each one of these spaces, which can eventually become bedrooms, have their own private bathrooms. Photo by Walter Otto
