Villa Lugano

The project begins with the choice of materials for outside in conjunction with the building designer, Antonio Antorini.
Serena stone becomes one of the elements connoting throughout the house, in the interior used to coat the stairs, outside we can find it resting in large rectangular slabs up to modeled into a sculpture like table, limited edition placed in one of the villa's terraces.

Inside, where from the large windows dominates the panorama of the lake, the floor is in wood and the walls are strictly white. Next to the custom-designed furnishings we can recognize many objects designed by Colombo for companies like antoniolupi, Arflex, Flou, Poliform and Varenna as well as some of the icons of modern design, such as chairs by Charles Eames and the Parentesi lamp by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu.
